garden gateThis training will be comprised of four main sections, and we will be weaving ethical considerations and guidelines throughout the training:

  • what is trauma and what causes it
  • how trauma manifests in symptoms and behaviors
  • the neurobiology of trauma and healing
  • how to facilitate the healing process

We have taken the best parts of multiple models, tools, interventions, and research, and woven them together into a single training. You will learn basics from parts work, HeartMath, dance/movement therapy, art therapy, somatics, Brainspotting, systems theory, psychedelics, the latest in neuroscience, acupressure, and more. We also address working with neurodivergent clients and how to support different neurotypes.

By the end of the training you will be fully ready to integrate The TAG Method into your work and life.

This is a Master’s level course and a deep dive. By the end of the training you will not only be trauma competent, but empowered in working with trauma. You will no longer have to feel nervous about trauma showing up in your place of work, or worry about how to support your colleagues or employees. You will be able to recognize what is going on and will have multiple tools at your fingertips to help.

We are both Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) therapists and offer psychedelic integration. We believe that non-ordinary states of consciousness (be it through psychedelics, breathwork, or other points of access) combined with The TAG Method is the future of trauma therapy. The world is on fire and we do not have time for people to spend a decade in therapy. Nor should people have to suffer for that long. We need rapid healing paced at the rate of each person’s nervous system.

This training will prepare you to be an agent of change and healing in the world.

I want everyone I know to take this course! The TAG Method class not only gives in-depth understanding of trauma, but it gives practical tools to navigate trauma that can be used individually and offered to others. Maria and Katherine hold the space with grace and ease, structure and flexibility. I love their approach to “disrupting the mental health system.” I look forward to staying connected to this community!
